Each school day, we will introduce a new resource compete with tutorials and tips. The challenge is for you to explore the shared tool and post a reflection about how you could use it to enhance student learning. Not every tool will be new to you, so participants are welcome to share what they've learned from using the tool in the classroom.
The ICATS are excited to provide this challenge because we believe the participants will create and learn from an amazing community of practice. While the intrinsic value of participation is great, we have to admit there is some significant extrinsic motivation as well. EVSC participants who post responses to all thirty challenges will be entered into a drawing for an iPad 2 that will be given away at the end of the Tuesday, December 13th's After the Bell session at the Technology and Innovation Center (TIC).
Non-EVSC educators are welcome to join the challenge but will not be eligible to enter the drawing.
The first 30 Day Challenge will explore Web 2.0 Tools related to communication, collaboration, productivity, creativity and innovation. If you know how to join the blog, please do so now. If not, no worries. Our first challenge will include how to join a blog as well as how to post comments.
If you have any questions, please email the ICATS or leave a post here.
Thank you and we are looking forward to learning with you!
